Members must attend a range
orientation before using the archery range.
-
Archery equipment only, the
use of firearms of all types are not permitted on the range.

Crossbows are not permitted
on the archery range. An exception
is made for Certified Mobility-Impaired and hunters, holding a current
valid license, who may use crossbows only on the broadhead range on approved
targets.
-
All arrows must use standard
target or field points on the known distance target range and the walking
course.
-
The known distance range
has target backstops at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 100 yards.
Archers will use the corresponding firing point for each range.
Please rotate target location on the backstop.
-
A paper tune up frame (stored
behind the target butts) may be used on the 10 yard target lane.
-
Arrows with broadhead type
points are only permitted in the broadhead restricted area at the west
side of the fixed target range. Target bases are provided at 20, 30, 40
and 50 yards.

Broadhead equipped arrows
may only be used on approved broadhead targets.

Archers are to restrict the
elevation of their arrow to a safe level when drawing their bow before
each shot.
-
Do not deviate from the path
of the walking course.
-
On the walking course, only
proceed forward from target to target, do not traverse the course in reverse.
-
A limited number of firing
points on the walking course will have target backstops with targets (loop
A). The remainder of the course
will be used with 3D targets deployed only during 3D shoots (loop B).
-
Members may place round archery
targets for traditional type of shoots (Rounds) at the required distance
(50 yards and 100 yards) on the known distance range. Bows must be restricted
to a power level that will not fully penetrate the target.
